Wellness Initiative Senior Education Program
(WISE)

Two day certification is specifically designed for those who want to be a Certified Wellness Initiative Senior Education Educator and be able to focus on older adults. In covering a range of topics from stress management and strategies for healthy living to medication management and prescription drug abuse, WISE uses an interactive approach to help seniors celebrate aging, make positive lifestyle choices, and feel more confident and in control of their lives.

At the completion of this training, facilitators will be prepared to guide program participants through the 6-week lessons of the WISE program by using a mixture of small group activities, group discussions, and individual exercises.

The two day training will help facilitators properly market the program, recruit program participants, and utilize NJPN’s evaluation tools to help assess the impact of the program at the end of the six week program.
